Professor David Harrison
Professor Harrison was appointed as a member in April 2000. He is a medical pathologist with research interests in the early molecular and cellular changes of colo-rectal cancer, and the genetic regulation of tissue injury in liver and lung. He is Director of the Sir Alastair Currie CRUK Laboratories in Edinburgh and a Member of the Edinburgh MRC Centre for Inflammation Research management team. He is involved in the development of digital pathology systems for rapid communication of pathology diagnoses between pathologists.
